My name is Lindsey, I'm 20 years old. I've been overweight for most of my life and even hit the obese mark at one point. I have B.E.D. and it tends to take control of me sometimes but I'm making a change and moving in a positive direction. Lately I've been doing less than great but things are changing for the better! I have recently completed Tough Mudder and am looking forward to doing so again in the future!

So my name is Lindsey. I’m 20 years old. I’ve been overweight since I was about 8 years old. I always struggled with my weight.

It wasn’t until 7th grade that it really spun out of control. I broke my ankle and gained 40 pounds. I weighed over 160 pounds at that point.

However, it didn’t stop there. I kept gaining as I went through high school, reaching an all time high of 195 pounds.

At that point I got my ass into gear and lost 20 pounds immediately. I went on vacation that year at 175 pounds. It was at that time that my aunt suggested nutrisystem for the both of us. I aggreed and was very excited about this. I went home and ate like hell and got back to 180 because I was about to start a new diet and I just didn’t care.

I started nutrisystem and lost weight. I got down to 159 pounds. I stopped and gained it all back

I remember graduating at 173 pounds and starting college at 185. I wanted to cry. College is when you’re supposed to reinvent yourelf, no?

That’s when I found tumblr. It’s been a little over a year and I am currently down to 150something pounds while writing this. I’d be lying if I said I could do this without tumblr. I probably wouldn’t be able to find the motivation.

I’m now training for finished with Tough Mudder. I plan on getting down to 140 by then. It started out as wanting to be thin but now I’m in it for overall health.

I’ll be adding more later but this was just a basic overview to get one up there.
